NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Dallas County Park Cities Municipal Utility District is soliciting bids for water treatment chemicals for fiscal year 2025. Sealed proposals addressed to the attention of Mr. Hector Ortiz, General Manager, Dallas County Park Cities Municipal Utility District, (District) 1811 Regal Row, Dallas, Texas 75235, and marked “Proposal Enclosed”, will be received until 10:00a.m., June 21, 2024, for furnishing the following itemized chemicals for water purification.
ITEM I Lime Slurry (Hydrated)
Projected Annual Usage: 1700 Tons
ITEM II Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite 10%
Projected Annual Usage: 750 Tons_
ITEM III Liquid Sodium Hydroxide 50%
Projected Annual Usage: 2,500 Gallons
ITEM IV Liquid Citric Acid 50%
Projected Annual Usage: 5,000 Gallons
ITEM V Liquid Hydrochloric Acid 33%
Projected Annual Usage: 165 Gallons
ITEM VI Liquid Sodium Bisulfite 38%
Projected Annual Usage: 1000 Gallons
ITEM VII Ferric Sulfate 50% Solution
Projected Annual Usage: 750 Tons
ITEM VIII Liquid Ammonium Sulfate
Projected Annual Usage: 155 Tons
ITEM IX Granular Activated Carbon Filter Media
Removal and replacement of granular activated carbon (GAC) in two filters
Approximate volume of GAC: 2000 cubic feet
All chemicals shall be ANSI/NSF Standard 60 approved for use in the treatment of drinking water and shall comply with the appropriate AWWA Standards.
The projected annual usage shown are estimates. The District reserves the right to purchase more or less than the estimated quantities without penalty or change in submitted price.
Contract will be for 2 years with 2 one-year options to renew.
The District reserves the right to reject any or all quotes, to waive informalities, and to make such purchases on an annual basis, as may be deemed to be most advantageous to the District.
